Lau Kar-Yung is the son of Lau Cham's second daughter Lau Shiu-Yee as well as also Lau Kar-Leung and Lau Kar-Wing’s nephew. He's currently the Fifth Generation Wong Fei Hung Hung Kuen Lau Kar's Grandmaster.
