Kara Luiz is an actress, improvisor and host. She has appeared in many commercials for brands such as MCDONALD'S, DOS EQUIS, CONVERSE, DISCOVER, JEEP, SPRINT, COX CABLE, GENERAL ELECTRIC, RAM, DISH NETWORK and a handful of others. A few highlights from her theatrical appearances include HACKS, AMERICAN CRIME STORY, THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, THE BIG BANG THEORY, and CRIMINAL MINDS as well as series regular roles on MTV’s JERKS WITH CAMERAS and DISASTER DATE. She can also be seen on the big screen (aka Amazon) as the lead in the horror comedy THE NIGHT WATCHMEN or in the upcoming EMILY THE CRIMINAL with Aubrey Plaza. Kara is a graduate of THE GROUNDLINGS and UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE and regularly performed at UCB (may God rest Sunset's sweet soul) with her improv team, SOME KINDA MONSTER. As a host, she’s recently worked with FUNNYORDIE, Vin De Bona's WHAT THE FAMILY. and AWESTRUCK as a "comedic personality" on over 20 episodes of the series MOM TESTED.
