He was an actor and writer, known for Big Bill (1949), Moi et l'autre (1966) and Les tisserands du pouvoir (1988). He was also the voice of Fred Flintstone (Fred Caillou) in the French-Canadian version of The Flintstones (Les Pierrafeu).
