A TV crew follows self-taught actor Anders Torgaard, who has moved from Herning to Copenhagen in pursuit of his big break as an actor. His girlfriend Liv is finding it difficult to maintain her enthusiasm for Anders' career, and she is most concerned about the couple's finances. But Anders believes in a life as a recognized actor, especially now that he is going to audition for a feature film.
